NFL week 11 betting lines and trends roundup
One of the best things about Week 11 in the NFL this year? It’s the last one with more than two teams on the bye. Six are this week: Buffalo, Cleveland, Miami, the New York Jets, New England and San Francisco. Five really bad teams and the Patriots.

No question the marquee matchup of the week and perhaps the season is Monday night when the Kansas City Chiefs (9-1) visit the Los Angeles Rams (9-1) in a potential Super Bowl preview and between two of the highest-powered offenses in modern NFL history. This game originally was set for Mexico City but was moved due to the field conditions there being horrific. The Rams are -3.5 and the total of 63.5 is the highest in NFL history. Kansas City has covered eight of its last nine as an underdog.
It’s perhaps a playoff elimination game on Sunday as the Dallas Cowboys visit the Atlanta Falcons, with both clubs at 4-5. Very rare for teams 4-6 to play postseason football. The Falcons are 3-point favorites, and Dallas is just 3-7 straight up in its past 10 as a dog.
It’s an unlikely matchup of division leaders when the Houston Texans visit the Washington Redskins. Houston has done the near impossible of winning six straight after starting 0-3 to take control of the AFC South, while Washington is a surprise atop the NFC East. The Redskins are 3-point underdogs even though Houston is just 4-10 ATS in its past 14 overall.
No double-digit favorites this week, with the largest being the New Orleans Saints at -9 against the visiting Philadelphia Eagles. New Orleans is on an NFL-high eight-game winning streak, while Philadelphia was stunned at home Sunday night by Dallas to put its playoff hopes in some jeopardy. The Eagles are 2-6 ATS in their past eight as the Super Bowl hangover continues.
First place in the NFC North is on the line Sunday night as the Minnesota Vikings visit the Chicago Bears. This game was flexed into prime time, replacing Pittsburgh at Jacksonville. The Bears are 3-point favorites despite winning just one of their past 10 against NFC North foes. That came last Sunday against Detroit.
Nothing at all at stake Sunday when the Oakland Raiders visit the Arizona Cardinals except a better shot at the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 draft for the loser. The Raiders are +5.5 and 3-9 ATS in their past 12 as a road dog.
