Colorado Avalanche Vs. Dallas Stars Predictions
We are set to have one of the most thrilling games of the season on Thursday Night.
The Colorado Avalanche is chasing a wildcard spot in the Western Conference, and the Dallas Stars are one of the teams they are aiming to knockoff.
The current wildcard race in the West is set to have a fabulous end of the regular season. Seven teams are trying to get last two spots in the playoffs, and two of them will go head-to-head on Thursday.
Dallas is currently with 73 points and in a position to earn one of the last wildcard seed.
Things are looking good.
Not only are they in control of the situation, but they have won three games in a row and four of the last five.
The Stars have done it in different ways as well. They scored four goals on each of the recent wins against the Chicago Blackhawks (4-3), Los Angeles (4-3), and St. Louis Blues (4-1). But they also took down the New York Rangers (1-0) in a close game in their most recent outing.
The Stars at home have been a stable wager this season.
A $100 bet on each of their home game would have you with $288 winnings.
They are not as good when playing on the road. Colorado is up and down over the last few weeks, but they are very much in the wildcard race.
The Avalanche has 70 points after 67 games, and are two behind the Minnesota Wild and three below the Dallas Stars.
They recently ended a two losing skid by beating the Detroit Wings (4-3) in overtime. The win was their 7th in their last 10 games. The Avalanche is putting the heat on both Minnesota and Dallas.
The great thing about Colorado is they have the upper hand in the recent games against Dallas.
The Avalanche has won five of the last six meetings against the Stars, including three in a row.
They met for the last time in December, as Colorado won 6-4 at home.
Because the Avalanche has won the last few meetings, the oddsmakers will give the home team more favorable odds than usual.
